Selwyn United Quality Club Mark Accreditation
Selwyn United is pleased to announce that we are the first club in the country (of any code) to have achieved Quality Club Mark 2 accreditation.
“The New Zealand Football Quality Club Mark (QCM) club accreditation programme is designed to identify, support and highlight football clubs in New Zealand who are well run, community focused organisations aligned to the New Zealand Football Whole of Football Plan.”
Quality Club Mark assesses a number of factors on and off the field across the following criteria:
– Club Administration and Leadership
– Planning and Finance
– Compliance
– Volunteers
– Referee Development
– Player Development
– Fit4Football and Coach Development
– Community Engagement and Football For All
This quite an achievement for such a young club and something everyone involved should be proud of. We have a fantastic group of volunteers who work tirelessly in the background to ensure everything is ticking along – these are the people that make great clubs. The current board, led by Gerard de Rooy has worked hard to get the Quality Club accreditation across the line, and can now sit back, enjoy their Christmas, safe in the knowledge that the club continues to not only push forward, but to break new ground.
And a big thank you to our members, who make the club what it is. Thanks for your support. Enjoy the summer.
