A little bit of Selwyn United History as Dan Ede becomes the first Selwyn United player to debut for the Canterbury United Dragons

Dan has been training with the Dragons for a few weeks now and has been named in the match day squad for the game against Auckland City at Kiwitea Street.

Canterbury United have had a tough old season so far, but have often been on the wrong side of very tight matches. It doesn't get any easier against the league leaders, but Dan's pace and goal scoring prowess, should be an added weapon against a team who is likely to dominate possession.

It has been a big couple of weeks for Dan who officially became a kiwi, on Waitangi Day.
