Neighbours Day 2020 is now just over 5 weeks away!
Friday 27th March to Sunday 5th April 2020. This year's theme is: Small Things Make a Big Difference
We want to encourage the little acts of kindness and connection that can make BIG difference in someone's day.
The Neighbours Day Aotearoa Coordinators Cissy and Sam and friends will be posting regularly on Facebook showing you how to plan a Neighbours’ Day event, talking about Neighbours’ Day and visiting their Neighbours.
Cissy and Sam have been vlogging about their own Neighbours Day 2020 events and they are in the THINKING phase. They have been working out the sort of events that might work for their Neighbours. Will it fit into their busy schedules? What will happen if it is hot and their event is outside?
Plans can change - and that is okay! Sometimes life just happens and you don’t have time for a big event. Maybe think about having a cup of tea with a Neighbour or just dropping them some flowers from your garden.
Check out the Neighbours Day Aotearoa website for ideas to help you plan your event.
Find resources to help you get involved or encourage others to get involved in Neighbours Day.
You can even just register your INTENT this year. So, you haven’t made firm plans but you are thinking about what you might do.
If you are organised and have an event on Facebook, make Neighbours Day Aotearoa a co-host and they will share your event with our audience.
