** PIPS (Pregnancy, Infancy, Parenting Support) has an exciting opportunity for a new Manager to lead our small team and make a real difference for Canterbury families.

This is a part-time role of 30 hours per week.

At PIPS our vision is to ensure individuals and families are empowered and well supported during pregnancy and the early childhood years. We offer a drop-in service so whānau can get the emotional and practical support they need, when they need it. We also collaborate with other organisations in the early years' sector to enhance this work.

As Manager you will be responsible for managing client services, two part-time staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate will:

· Have experience managing people, preferably in the NGO sector

· Be a competent financial manager, able to work with budgets, complete payroll, keep appropriate records

· Have experience applying for community funding and providing accountability reports to funders

· Be a great communicator who is able to work with clients, volunteers, board members and external agencies, in a social services setting

· Be proficient in Microsoft Office - proficiency in Xero, Wordpress and Google Admin and Drive an advantage

· Have a relevant tertiary qualification

Core work hours will be mostly on-site in Wainoni during school hours, with some flexibility and working from home options.

The successful applicant will be subject to NZ Police vetting as required by our Child Protection Policy.
