The other school at Sherwood

Carolyn Crow —

School might be out for most of our students at 3 pm on Friday, but every Saturday another set of students take their place.

For a number of years now the New Zealand School of Korea has hired our buildings and grounds for their Saturday school. Students come to learn and maintain their Korean language skills.

The school is very popular, growing in size every year.

We ask that if you do come up to school on Saturday between 9.00 and 3.00, please try to leave the central part of the school grounds free for their use. Playing on the turf and the back playground is unlikely to interrupt their lessons, or perhaps come up on Sunday when the whole grounds are free.

We are very fortunate to host our Korean School counterparts, as their hireage adds a substantial amount to our school funds that we are able to use for the benefit of our Sherwood students.
