Primary Schools Rugby Festival - Round 2
The North Harbour Primary Schools Festival wraps up for another year with a dominant display from Sherwood.
Earlier this term, our Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 Rippa Rugby teams travelled to Windsor Park for the 2nd and final festival of the Primary Schools Rugby Season.
Mother nature provided the goods with outstanding playing conditions. Our students were eager to hit the fields. Unfortunately their awesome Long Bay College students were unable to make the festival. However, a superb team of parents stepped up to support our players. I would like to say a huge thank you to Karl, Graeme, Bianca and Maria for all your help.
Before we knew it, the teams were straight into their first round games. Throughout the day, they participated in 4 games with schools from around the North Shore. A MASSIVE congratulations to all the players, you displayed outstanding HEART values and athleticism. There were "meat pies" a plenty (a rugby term when scoring a try). It was clear the teams have been putting in the work with a high level of ball running, passing, supporting play and good old fashioned razzle dazzle! Check out the highlights below...
