You will see in the information in this newsletter that we have given a lot of thought into creating a "safe normal" for students.

Some other actions we have taken to minimise risk are:

• hand sanitiser at every classroom door with children expected to use it whenever they return to class and before they eat
• promotion of good routines around coughing and sneezing
• adjustment of PE and Music programmes to minimise sharing of equipment and space and limit contact between students
• staggered breaks with only 3 junior and 3 senior classes out at each break time which allows for more space between students (the class groups for breaks correspond to the staggered start/finish groups)
• eating first at a break time so students can be supervised to ensure hand sanitising before they eat
• playgrounds will be disinfected on a daily basis
• support programmes delivered in class rather than groups going out to other parts of the school
