Matariki Art - Year 3

The year 3's have been working on some art pieces to celebrate Matariki. During Matariki (Maori New Year) people wear special kākahu (clothes). To celebrate Matariki in our class we made our own collaborative korowai (cloak) to represent each one of us as individuals and as a team. We coloured in a few feathers each to represent ourselves and the colours that we like. We then glued them on and added some special feathers.
