The Sherwood Parents Association is responsible for running fun events for our students and school community, while raising money for school resources - see the SPA Noticeboard in the school foyer for news and upcoming events.

Term 2 has flown by and we're celebrating with a special Pizza Lunch for the students from Hell Pizza on Friday 9 July. So pack away the lunch boxes on the last day of term and enjoy a yummy Pizza. An information flyer was set home at the beginning of the week. For more information check out the article in the newsletter including a 'how to' with steps to join KINDO and order.

We are planning some exciting events for the second half of the year. Our school-wide DISCO is coming in September and we will be asking for volunteers to help us plan a Fun Colour Run in Term 4. If you are interested in being on the planning committee to make this great event happen, email us!

We are looking for some parents to become more actively involved with SPA. The current team has been doing a lot of work over the last 5 years and raised significant funds for the school. There are a number of plans in the pipeline to improve the junior school, if you have children in these year groups, or have a child starting school in the next year then this is your chance to have a say in raising money for play equipment etc that will directly impact your children.

Unfortunately without new members we will be unable to run discos, lunches, and other fun events for the children and our school community. Donate a few hours of your time a month to make a difference! We are supportive of new members and will assist you with any roles. Our next meeting is 1 July, 7.00pm in the school staffroom.
