As for Alert Level 3, only if there is not an adult in the house to supervise them.

While the country moves to Alert Level 2 from midnight, until Monday, the definition of which children should attend school remains the same as at Alert Level 3.

We understand that with businesses reopening on Thursday there may be children who will now need to attend school because there is no adult at home.

However, as our regular teachers will not be reopening their classes until Monday, students who need to attend on Thursday and Friday will be supervised by relief teachers. 

Therefore if your child does need to attend on one or both days, it is essential that you notify the school in advance - the day before - so that we can ensure we have sufficient staff onsite.
