Sherwood students welcome our new principal with a traditional Powhiri and multicultural performances.

On Friday September 4 we held a 'School Only' Powhiri and Welcome Assembly. The children welcomed Mr Johnstone with a traditional Powhiri in the first half with Jayden Puohotaua presenting his Whaikorero for the very first time. We then moved into a Welcoming Assembly, welcoming him in 3 other languages and ending with an Elton John song. The children were super excited to finally be able to share these moments with Mr Johnstone.
