Welcome to term 3 at Sherwood Primary! Things are starting to feel normal again after the effects of the past few months. We are so thankful that our children get to start this new term at school with their friends and teachers.

This term we are planning a school disco on the 21st August! This disco is open to all Sherwood students - please read the article in this newsletter for more information! We are also planning a school lunch order towards the end of the term.

To date, SPA has raised over $9000 this year! This is a great achievement considering we had to cancel our Twilight Gala at the end of term 1. We've achieved our fundraising through online auctions, the mini gala, uniform sales and ice block sales. Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraiser events!

Over the past few months SPA has donated money for indoor classroom games for all the kids to enjoy in the current wet weather, a slab of concrete to make a solid foundation for a new enviro-garden shed and a Epro8 System for the classrooms!

Our next SPA meeting is Tuesday 1st September at 7pm. Everyone is welcome - so please feel free to come along! It is hosted in the staff room.
