Outstanding ICAS Success
Huge congratulations to Tessa Jenkins in Year 5 who was awarded an ICAS medal for writing.
Each year many of our students enter the ICAS competitions run by the University of New South Wales. We are always very proud of our students and the results they achieve in these competitions.
However, this year we are extra proud as one of our Year 5 students has been awarded the highest possible award - an ICAS medal. These recognise outstanding achievement, and are only awarded if there is a student who reaches the level of excellence to qualify. if no student reaches that level, no medal is awarded.
Tessa and her family attended the special awards ceremony on the 7th of December which was a very special occasion.
Tessa wrote her medal winning piece on the topic of how to make the world a better place. We congratulate Tessa and look forward to enjoying her wonderful writing some more in the future.
