No Year 5/6 camp in 2021

We are committed to ensuring all our students experience camp as part of their Sherwood School journey. However, we’ve made the decision not to hold a Year 5/6 camp next year but instead hold camps every second year. Our current Year 5 students enjoyed their camp experience this year. Our current Year 4 students will enjoy camp in 2022 when they are Year 6 students. Reasons for this decision include the financial cost for families to pay for camp two years in a row, the risk of Covid-19 upsetting camp planning next year and the opportunity to offer other experiences to our Year 5/6 students during their non-camp year.
