This term the year 3's are doing a technology inquiry. We are looking at communication. Our big idea: We can create things that make a difference to the world.

The year 3 students are looking at the following: 

• Exploring our environment can help us identify issues and needs.

• How products change over time.

• People can create things to improve our world. 

As part of our inquiry, we have been learning about communication from a long time ago, and communication today. We have been learning about things like carrier pigeons, radio, the first telephone and morse code. An area of interest to the year 3 students was cave paintings/drawings, so we decided to make our own!
