A sigh of relief...our 2020 Senior Cross Country event will be going ahead!

1) 8 Year old Girls
2) 8 Year old Boys
3) 9 Year old Girls
4) 9 Year old Boys
5) 10+ Girls
6) 10+ Boys
The first race will start at 11am and then each race will follow on as the previous one finishes, therefore we cannot give you the exact starting times for each race. 

Our seniors will be walking down to Freyberg Park to take on the Cross Country Challenge. They have been working hard in PE to develop their aerobic fitness, with a lot of them making good times in their practice runs. Will their preparation pay off? We will have to wait and see on Friday 19th June! 

For those wishing to sneak in a bit of extra training, see below for the course map. Please note the Year 4 course differs slightly to the Year 5&6 course. The courses are subject to change on the event day due to potential hazards, adverse weather or areas blocked off for construction. 

On the event day, students are encouraged to wear their house colours and can get as creative and/or wacky as they want. Don't forget clothes must be suitable to run in. The ground has potential to be very muddy so suitable shoes must be worn as well. We also highly recommend they bring a named drink bottle along with them. 

It would be fantastic to see you all come along and support our runners, there is plenty of parking :) In case of adverse weather, the event will be postponed until Thursday 25th June. The call to postpone will be made by 9am via email and our school Facebook page.
