Sharing Learning & Progress Term 4

Sherwood Team —

We look forward to sharing your child's learning, progress, and achievement with you in a number of ways during Term 4.

Reports

Written end-year reports will come home to you via Seesaw in Week 9. If in addition, you require a printed copy of the report, please message your child's teacher. These requests will be collated and the printed reports sent home with your child during Week 10.

The report details your child's achievement against the expected level for their year group at the end of the year in the core curriculum areas of reading, writing and mathematics. A general comment provides further elaboration on your child's progress at school, both in curriculum areas and other key competencies.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of the report, please message your child's teacher to arrange an opportunity to do this.

Seesaw Sharing

As your child completes activities at school on Seesaw, they will be shared with you. You can expect to see regular Seesaw posts. Some will be whole-class and others from your child individually.

As a school, we invite you to comment on your child’s Seesaw posts. We would like to thank you for ensuring the comments you leave are both positive and encouraging.

School Activities

There will be other opportunities for your child to share their learning across the term. Teams will update you as these arise. We love having you come in to see what we have been up to!
