Visitors to the Grounds

Carolyn Crow —

We ask that during Alert Level 2, you do not come into the grounds unless necessary.

The majority of students are quite able to go to and from their classrooms independently. Most communication with the school can be managed via email to your child's teacher or the office. Payments can generally be made online.

We understand that there will be the odd student, for example our new starters, who will need a parent to come in with them.

Other than students and staff, anybody coming onsite will be required to:

  • enter the grounds through the front door
  • sign in on the VisTab i-Pad, which will be set up in the foyer (two-metre spaces are marked on the foyer floor in case of people needing to wait to sign in).
  • the VisTab printer will produce a sticker which you must wear to show you have signed in
  • use the hand sanitiser provided

Anyone other than students and staff who then wishes to enter a classroom/building will need to be given permission by a staff member, and use hand sanitiser before entering.

Please do not come into the grounds to wait for your child at the end of the day - arrange to meet them at the appropriate gate.

The children will not be allowed to stay and play on playgrounds after school even if parents are here - the playgrounds will be closed for daily cleaning in the afternoons.
