We are currently looking for players for our Year 3&4 and Year 5&6 teams.

Hockey:
The Primary Schools hockey season runs throughout Terms 2 and 3. Games are played at the new North Harbour Hockey centre on Monday nights between 4pm and 7pm. Training sessions are held either before school, after school or during school lunch hours, depending on the coaches availability. Games are 6 aside and played on 1/4 turf. We currently have 2 divisions available depending on what year your child is in:
- Year 3&4 Mini Sticks
- Year 5&6 Kiwi Sticks Development
Each team needs parental support to take on the role of coach and manager. We have resources within our school to assist coaches. If parents or older siblings are able to help manage or coach teams, please fill in the relevant details on the registration form. In the event that we cannot find a coach, we will not be able to enter a team.

All players will need shin pads, a mouth guard and a hockey stick. (If need be, we can provide a stick for use during the season)

Year 3&4 players are to wear their school PE uniform.Year 5&6 players are to wear their school PE shorts and a school hockey shirt. Hockey shirts are hired out at the start of the season, the cost has been included in the fees. Please note, there is no option to buy or keep the shirt.

Rugby:
The 2020 Primary Schools Rugby Festival takes place over three days during school time in Terms 2 and 3 at Windsor Park, Mairangi Bay.

Round 1: Thursday 28th May. Save day, Tuesday 2nd June
Round 2: Thursday 23rd July. Save day, Tuesday 28th July
Round 3: Thursday 27th August. Save day, Tuesday 1st September
There are 5 divisions for students to play in:
Y3&4 Boys Rippa
Y3&4 Girls Rippa
Y5&6 Boys Rippa
Y5&6 Girls Rippa
Y5&6 Tackle - Please note tackle has a 55kg weight limit.

In the event we don't have the numbers for an all boys or all girls team then we will make a mixed team.
