You heard right...Northcross Intermediate sent students down to teach us Physical Education!

Over the last couple of weeks, one lucky Rata class got to spend time with a team of Northcross students with the aim of developing their Physical Education skills. It was all part of their Passion Project where students go out into the community to make a positive impact. 

Over the course of 4 weeks, the students participated in a range of physical activities lead by the Northcross students. These included netball, basketball, dodgeball, multisport (a combination of football, hockey, basketball and netball) and activities from Athlete Nation which is a programme used at Northcross. 

As well as focusing on the physical stuff, the students also got to explore the food and nutritional side of things. We were shown a website they had created that was full of easy to follow recipes and advice for healthy eating. 

It was fantastic to see the two schools creating positive links through physical education. Thank you to the team from Northcross: Misha, Capri, Maddie, Millie, and Zach.
