Sherwood's Year 6 Spaniels netball team attends the Mid Season Junior Netball Tournament at Netball North Harbour

On Sunday 21st July, the Year 6 Spaniels Netball team entered the Mid Season Junior Netball Tournament and competed in the Year 6 Red grade. The got to play 4 games throughout the day against schools from all over Auckland including Birkenhead, Freemans Bay, Grey Lynn and Waiheke. With the team returning to school for Term 3 absolutely buzzing, they were quick to tell us it was an awesome day of netball with the team demonstrating teamwork and sportsmanship. The girls convincingly won all their games, 10-0, 7-3, 8-3 and 12 -1. Well done Spaniels, you should be very proud! Thank you to Cath Anderson and Melanie Cooper for looking after the team.
