A few weeks ago Matai syndicate were  invited to Northcross Intermediate School to have a look at their Enviro Garden which aligns well with our inquiry on looking at different landscapes.  The children took part in hands on activities.  They were able to add to the compost bin and gathered seeds and look at those already stored by Northcross students over time, in jars.  We learnt about biodiversity and how insects help, and we also explored the worm farm.
