Congratulations to our team!

On Monday 1 August, a team of 10 students went to Murrays Bay Primary School to compete with 6 other schools in chess. 

We had impressive results and came close second by 0.5 points. 

• William Liu came first overall, undefeated with 7 points out of 7.
• Dorian O'Rourke came second overall with 5.5 points out of 7.

This means the Sherwood Chess team qualifies to go to the Nationals Tournament in Rotorua!
