We look forward to returning to the usual school day hours this term. However, with everyone dropping off and picking up their children at the same time, we ask you consider the following...

Before School – grounds open 8:30am
The school grounds officially open at 8:30am. Unless supervised by an adult, your child should not arrive at school before 8:30am. Any children who arrive slightly before 8:30am must wait in the foyer until the 8:30am bell. Any students arriving before 8:15am should be enrolled at BASC.
Consider parking and walking to school...
- Try parking a few streets away from the school and then walk your child to and from school (please ensure you don't block driveways or access to properties)
- Check out the three entry points for our school and which would work best for you:
- Sartors Ave (front exit)
- King Richard Place walkway - please note that the gate in the fence has been opened to shorten how far children and families have to walk.
- Montclair Rise walkway (especially Year 0 & 1 families)
- Please use the school crossing to cross Sartors Avenue - be a good example!
If you have to use your car, use the drop-off and pick-up zone like a pro!

- Use the drop-off and pick-up zone like a quick moving taxi rank
- Only get out of your vehicle if you need to quickly help your children get in and out safely (on the footpath side of the car)
- Never walk away from your vehicle
- Teach your children to look out for your vehicle and to get in quickly when you pull up
- You are only allowed 2 minutes in the zone so if your children are not ready to get straight into your vehicle at pick-up time, you will need to drive around the block and queue to enter the area again!
- No U-turns on Sartors Ave in front of the school as per the road sign.
