Our Sherwood School Community Picnic is open to all family members of Sherwood School students. The event enables families to get to know each other, chat informally with staff and enjoy some family fun time.

It’s an informal event with no meetings, speeches or prior bookings required. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket and set up (picnic style) on the grass area around the turf.

Feel free to bring food and drink for your family however you are encouraged to bring coins/cash to purchase items for sale e.g. sausage sizzle, ice blocks, donuts and soft drinks.

Second hand uniforms will also be on sale in the hall foyer. All proceeds will go towards the school via SPA.

A number of games and activities will be set up on the turf for families to enjoy. In addition, a water slide will be operating on the grass slope so children may choose to wear their togs.

Staff will be wearing named lanyards so they can be easily identified for parents to chat to if they wish.
