The Year 3 students recently had a school visit as part of our inquiry into 'Living Landscapes'.

ZooVentures came to our school. We looked at the different habitats of animals, what a habitat is and what the animals need from it. We also learnt about the human impacts and the challenges this causes for plants and animals, as well as relationships between all the parts of a particular ecosystem. The students got to meet a variety of animals, including bearded dragons, baby tortoises, rabbits, dogs, frogs and chinchillas. 

It was a great experience for the students.
