As you are aware, the Board of Trustees have begun the process of appointing a new Principal for our school.

We have contracted Roween Higgie of The Education Group, to advise the board during this process. Roween is a former Principal to both Bayfield and Remuera Primary Schools and has been a Director in The Education Group for ten years. She well understands the dynamics of running high decile schools and has a strong track record of supporting school boards, both with respect to Principal appointment, as well as building strong governance practices. The Education Group has been involved in the appointment of over 70 principals since 2013.

So far, an appointment process timetable has been set, with an appointment expected by the first week of term 3 2020.
