The Sherwood Parents Association is responsible for running fun events for our students and school community, while raising money for school resources. We are looking for parents or caregivers to be part of our planning committee.

Welcome to Term 2. Your Parents' Association has been on a small hiatus due to Covid restrictions, but we are regrouping and looking at planning for the remainder of the year. We have managed to have two second-hand uniform sales this year which have raised over $1500. Thank you to everyone who has donated uniform and to our helpers for running the sales.

There are plans underway for a School Disco in Term 3, as well as School Photos and our Calendar Art orders. We also have several school projects that need funds and Mr. Johnstone will be at our next meeting to talk about these and how our fundraising can help. 

We are looking for some parents to become more actively involved with SPA. The current team has been doing a lot of work over the last 5 years and raised significant funds for the school. There are several plans in the pipeline to improve the junior school, if you have children in these year groups, or have a child starting school in the next year then this is your chance to have a say in raising money for play equipment etc... that will directly impact your children.

Unfortunately without new members, we will be unable to run discos, lunches, and other fun events for the children and our school community. Donate a few hours of your time a month to make a difference! We are supportive of new members and we will assist you with any roles. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 14 June, at 7.00 pm in the school staffroom.
