Last Friday Miss Park took a team of keen chess players to compete in the inter-school chess tournament.

We are excited to let you know that Sherwood school came second place at the tournament. This means we qualify for the regionals tournament happening later this year. Congratulations to David Zhu who came first place overall by winning all his matches! Thanks to Miss Park for organising this opportunity to extend our tamariki in the sport of chess.
