Children Arriving Early/Being Collected Late

Sue Martin —

An increasing number of children appear to be arriving early in the mornings and also hanging around the school after school has finished for the day, unsupervised by a parent or caregiver.

Please ensure that  children are not dropped off at school unsupervised before  8.30am as classrooms are not open until then. Teachers are busy planning their day and no one is on duty in case of emergencies. It is the responsibility of parents and caregivers to ensure that children are supervised until this time, or arrangements made for care at Before School Care.
This also applies to after school, children must be collected from school by 3.15pm and not told to wait on playgrounds. No one is on duty to supervise children, should there be an accident.  If you need care, please contact Before & After School Care, please see our website for details.

Thank you.
