Korean F21 by Carolyn Crow

We once again welcomed the Korean Festival In Schools to Sherwood.
It was exciting to have this event return to Sherwood. We participated in 2019 so when the Korean Education Centre of New Zealand offered, we were quick to grab the opportunity.
Our Korean students each invited a friend to participate with them to share a bit about their culture. During the sessions students experienced wearing Hanbok (traditional Korean clothing), playing Tuho and Gukkuns (traditional games), and Seoye (calligraphy) working with master calligrapher Seun-Jae Yu.
As you will see from the photographs, all the students had a wonderful session of fun and learning and we feel fortunate that our school was selected to have a festival visit.
