BASC (Before & After School Care)

BASC is seeking responsible, active, fun people from 18 years of age to work in our busy and supportive before and after school programme. 

• This role would suit university students or mature people who are able to work without their own child needing care.

• Applicants must have an interest in child development, be able to use initiative, enjoy working with young children, playing games and encouraging children to try new things.

• Applicants must not mind cleaning for the health of the children and staff.

• A police check will be mandatory under the VCA.

• Hours are 7.30am - 8.30am and/or 2.45pm - 5pm.

• You should apply even if you can only work two or three afternoons and some mornings.

• Holiday programme hours will also be available (full days).

• Rates of pay are on age and experience and can be discussed at an interview.
