Rimu's Marae Visit

On Wednesday 8th March, Rimu (Year 5 team) students visited the Te Herenga Waka o Orewa Marae. 

They experienced the Pōhiri and sang multiple waiata beautifully. We shared our pepeha and ate kai together. 

Matua Darren announced that we are now part of the marae and we can use the Te Herenga Waka o Orewa Marae as our marae in the pepeha. The trip to the marae provided us with a rich cultural experience!
