Writing: Recounts. Recording spellings based on the words in their BSLA reading book.

Handwriting: Casey Caterpillar

Oral Language: Weekly news sharing and discussions. – speaking and listening skills/questioning.

Mathematics -

Number: number recognition depending on your child’s level. Addition and subtraction with or without materials.

Large Ball Skills and Fit For Life

NZ Curriculum Key Concepts:

Participate in creative and regular physical activities and identify enjoyable experiences.
Develop a wide range of movement skills, using a variety of equipment and play environments.
Demonstrating safe practices when playing indoor and outdoor games.
Understanding how our body responds to exercise.

Please ensure your child has suitable footwear for sport on this day. They are also welcome to wear the school PE uniform if they have it, but this is optional.
