We are looking for people to train up to be Reader–Writers for students with diagnosed learning needs in the second half of the year. The skills needed are:

• a good grasp of English language (particularly spelling and punctuation)
  
• good hearing
  
• a clear speaking voice
  
• reading fluency
  
• legible handwriting
  

We need people who are available during school hours to help a student to complete assessments, but it would generally only involve two to three hours per week. The positions we are seeking to fill would be ideal for those recently retired or unable to work full-time, who have their own transport.
