The annual Shirley 1st XI hockey v Shirley Hockey Old Boys was played on the Shirley turf on Wednesday 3 November.

The umpires arrived and immediately miked up as they were expecting an exciting and evenly contested game from both teams.

The old boys asserted their dominance on the game from the beginning and quickly scored and continued to dominate the first half.

The 1stXI refocused at half time and came back and scored two goals. The result of the game was 8-2 to the Shirley Hockey Old Boys.
