The 2019 Tabloid Sports took place on the main field at 77 North Parade, imbued with a degree of nostalgia for many of the staff and students. This would be the last time the event would be held at this location.

Organised by the Physical Education Department, the Tabloids ran smoothly through each rotation with senior boys introducing new Year 9s to the Shirley BHS culture and encouraging them in each of the activities. 

These included the tennis ball target, quoits, sack race, egg and spoon race, plank relay, shot put, cricket wicket throw, gutball relay, beach flags and a sack race.
