If your son is going to be absent from school, there are three ways it can be reported. 

You can:

• Ring 375 7057 then press 1 and leave a message
• Email absences@shirley.school.nz
• Send notification via the school app

When reporting an absence we need to know your son’s name, his form class (if known) and the reason for his absence.

If your son is away for three or more days we require a medical certificate.
