1st XI Hockey pre-season games

After a delayed start to the 2020 hockey season due to COVID-19, the 1st XI was finally able to play their first game of the season earlier this month.

They played two pre-season games at home on the Shirley hockey turf.

The first game of the season was against CBHS and the second game was against STAC a week later. Both games finished in a 2-2 draw.

The game against CBHS on Friday 5 June saw James McRobb playing his first game for Shirley Hockey.  and Jayan Goldsworthy and Jackson Kelly both played their 50th game.

The secondary school boy hockey competition started on Friday 19 June and will continue until the last Friday of Term three.
