Teacher in Charge: Mr R Stocks

Water Polo is a rapidly growing sport at Shirley Boys’ High School, the sport was re-established in 2017 after the sport experienced large setbacks following the earthquakes.

We operate in Term 1 (All year levels) and in Term 4 (Year 9 & 10’s only).

Term 1 there will be a Senior A team and a Senior B team.

-The Senior A’s will be entered into the Christchurch Boys’ A Grade competition and The Senior B’s will be entered into the Christchurch Boys’ B Grade competition.

Costs

$150.00 per term. Covers entry into local competitions, trainings, coaches fees and pool entry for the season.

Uniform

SBHS togs and warm up singlets need to be purchased by every A grade player. B team players will need to purchase Spartan Sport warm up tees from Kindo. Caps will be provided.

Trainings

Sunday evenings in Term 1,6pm - 7pm for B team and 6pm - 8pm for A team at Taiora.
