Commerce 10Eac (Full Year)

Course Description: This course aims to prepare students for further study in Economics, Accounting and Business Studies as well as develop essential financial skills needed in the future. A digital platform called Banquer is used to help learn ‘real life’ financial literacy skills.

Topics covered include

· Key Economic ideas

· Accounting

· Consumer rights

· Enterprise Studies including running a small enterprise

· Sharemarket

· Saving

· Wise Buying

Students can apply what they are learning to everyday experiences.

Commerce 10Eax (Half Year)

Course Description: This half year course aims to prepare students for further study in Economics, Accounting and Business Studies as well as develop essential financial skills needed in the future, but with a shorter time span there is less time to cover all the topics as thoroughly as the full year course. A digital platform called Banquer is used to help learn ‘real life’ financial literacy skills.
