Indoor Cricket
Congratulations to Ryan James and the NZ under 17 Indoor Cricket Team who competed at the Junior World Series Indoor Cricket Tournament in Christchurch, winning gold and beating South Africa in the final.
The team won all their games, apart from one loss to South Africa in pool play.
Their hard work, commitment, passion and team spirit saw them through to the end.
Judo
Congratulations to Dylan Payne, who competed in the South Island Judo Tournament during the weekend of the 15th and 16th September.
Dylan won three gold medals:
- Gold in Cadet men under 50kg
- Gold in cadet men under 55kg and
- Gold in senior boys under 50kgs
Touch
Congratulations to the following boys who have made a Canterbury Touch team for their respective age group;

Masters Football
Congratulations to Matt Gledhill, SBHS Maintenance Manager, who won gold last weekend at the South Island Masters Football Tournament in Timaru. Matt played for the Cashmere Tech Juniors who finished undefeated.
Matt is grateful to the SBHS PE department staff, for helping him get into (semi) shape for the tournament.
