Training:

First Year Crews (Novice)

3:30pm – 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.

9:30am – 12:00pm Saturday.

Second Year Crews (Senior)

3:30pm – 5:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

9:30am – 12:00pm Sunday.

Morning Erg sessions are also held on Wednesday and Friday as the session progresses.

Venues:

Kerrs Reach (training).

Waimakariri River (training).

Lake Hood, Ashburton.

Lake Ruataniwha, Twizel.

Lake Karipiro, Cambridge.

Uniform:

Avon Rowing Club race singlet to be purchased.

SBHS Rowing Singlet, row suit and jacket provided for regattas.

SBHS Crew polo as a uniform item for regattas available for $45.

SBHS Thermal gear available for $15

SBHS Rowing hat available for $20

Equipment: Boats are provided by Avon Rowing Club and SBHS.

Costs: Approximately $700 for a season Membership to Avon/SBHS rowing.

Costs for individual regattas (see above) range from $90-$150

The approximate cost for an 8 month season is $1300. This can be paid by instalment over the length of the season. Fundraising does play a significant part in reducing this cost.

Costs to Maadi are dependent on selection and venue.
