This course is available for Year 9 students in 2025
Course Description: This Year 9 course aims to help develop the learners writing, speaking, listening and reading skills. This will help students interact verbally, write and respond at a beginner level. This course will also cover Samoan performing arts and cultural aspects. The Year 9 course is a prerequisite for the Year 10 course.
Course content: Formal and informal greetings, questions and responses, aiga (family), aoga (school), commands and basic directions, location and places, Samoan performing arts, self introductions, basic nouns/verbs/adjectives, cultural customs
