Congratulations to Jaeden Hooper who has just been selected for the NZ under 16  Indoor Cricket team to play in the world cup next year.

Jaeden follows in his brother Carls' footsteps. Carl  is a SBHS old boy, who has recently returned from Dubai,  where he represented New Zealand in the Indoor Cricket under 22 World Cup.  The New Zealand team were placed second

Surfing

Congratulations to Myka Black, who placed  second at the National Surf Championships, held in Gisbourne recently.

Competing in the Under 14Yr  boys, Myka was pleased to make the final, commenting that  the surf was a consistent two to three feet, which suited him.

We look forward to Myka imparting his skill and knowledge on the rest of the SBHS surf team .
