On  25th September, five Year 12 boys sat the entrance test to qualify for the Chemistry Olympiad Team.

From the test, only 30 students were selected for the next round. Both Mitchell Rowe and Izak Dobbs made the cut and will attend a training camp, which will be held in the April School holidays 2018. 

If these two students are successful, they will represent New Zealand in the 50th Chemistry Olympiad which will be held in July, 2018 in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
