Mr Perkins took nine boys to the 40 hour Famine Youth Leadership Conference on Wednesday 13th March.

The aim  was to encourage participants to think about issues of social justice for the interconnected world we live in. Using the South Sundanese refugee crisis as a focus point, the Conference exposed our boys to a range inspiring speakers (including Chloe Swarbrick), to complex issues, and expanded their perspective to a global level.

Upon their return to school the boys will now be required to funnel their inspiration into the very hands-on organisation of the 40 Hour Famine for SBHS this year. 

They are looking forward to the challenge and are thankful for the opportunity.
