• Orienteering

Congratulations to Felix Hunt (pictured above), who competed at the New Zealand Orienteering National Championships over Easter.

Felix won four gold medals; he won the sprint race, middle distance race and long course race.  He was also part of the winning Junior Relay team and received a trophy for his age group (under 16 boys).  

Felix is a member of the Shirley Boys' Team competing in the New Zealand Secondary School Orienteering Nationals and South Island Championships in July.

• Football

Congratulations to Lincoln Huddy, who has been selected for the Ricki Herbert National Football Team, who he will tour New Zealand with during the October school holidays.  

Lincoln was also selected for the Wellington Phoenix Experience Camp, where he spent three days during the recent school holidays in Wellington training with some of the best goalkeeping coaches in New Zealand. 

• Softball

Congratulations to Blake Holt, Fergus Simcott and Dane Jorgensen, who have been named in the 2021 U15 Developing Sox Boys Squad.

They will participate in a development camp in Wellington, during October.

Well done to all these students, on their excellent achievements.
