Food Bank Week - June 27 to July 1

Shirley Boys' High School along with Avonside Girls' High School, St Andrew's College and St Margaret's College will be holding a Food Bank week 27/6-1/7. Proceeds will be going to the City Mission. More information will be given to the students leading up to this week.

Road Works on Averill Street

From June 16 until late July Fletchers will be working on Averill Street renewing the earthquake damaged storm water. Two way traffic will be maintained but there will be no parking in the immediate work area. At times, footpath access may be disrupted but one side of the street will always be open for pedestrian use. Signage will be in place to show this.

PE Shorts in stock – if your son has not collected his pre-ordered pair please remind him. (All boys have been advised in the daily notices several times.)

If your son is still wearing temporary shorts please have him come to the Uniform Shop to exchange before the end of term. (Again this has been in the daily notices.)

Please check school website for opening times.

Student Account Payments and Charges Reminder

Payments received with no specific instructions are applied (as much as possible) to student account charges with the following priority:

1. Exam fees and purchases (optional stationery, clothing, event tickets and trips)

2. Co-curricular activity charges

3. Curriculum subject/activity donations

4. General donations (tax deductible)

No more than $300 in Co-Curricular charges will be permitted to accrue on a student’s account without prior approval.

Caregiver approval and account credit (or automatic payment) is required before students can “charge” things to their account.

Please contact student office to arrange.
