Congratulations to 2012 1st XV player and Junior Kiwi Jamayne Isaako, who is  four games into his NRL career with the Brisbane Broncos.

On Friday 23 March, he was the toast of Suncorp Stadium, having scored all his team’s points in a 9 -7 victory over Wests Tigers (4 penalties and a drop goal).

Playing on the wing, Jamayne kicked a late drop goal to level the score at 7 – 7, and take the match into Golden Point extra time.

In the 88th minute,  he kicked the winning penalty to secure the win.

It was the first time in the Broncos' 30-year history that they had won a game without scoring a try.

It was also only the 5th time in NRL history for a team to win without scoring a try, the last occasion being in 1993, 3 years before Jamayne was born!
